Verified programs. Real design temperatures. No games.
Every incentive number on this site comes from a verified state or utility program with its verification date shown. Every sizing claim is grounded in your city's real winter design temperature. Federal 25C and 25D tax credits expired December 31, 2025, and no federal amount is implied or included anywhere here.
Every rebate is transcribed from the administering program and stamped with its verification date. Quarterly manual update. If a state has no statewide program, this site says so instead of inventing one.
Cold-climate capacity claims are checked against your city’s winter design temperature and the AHRI regional rating for your climate, so the system quoted is the system that heats on the coldest night.
Federal 25C and 25D tax credits expired December 31, 2025, and the federal HEAR rebate program was terminated in May 2026. Any site still quoting them is quoting money that does not exist. We never include federal amounts.
16 states carry a verified statewide program. The rest route through utility programs, listed per state. Data updated 2026-07-11. Source: State energy offices, utility program pages, DSIRE, HPN 50-State Rebate Research (2026-03-29), verified engine canon (S30).
